SNOB
is a beauty magazine originated in Cleveland, Ohio by Headlines by De’Franco owner Demetria Francis. SNOB was created to target readers in search of hair, fashion, beauty and entertainment professionals.
SNOB is a bi-annual magazine that distributes 5,000 copies in Cleveland, Atlanta, L.A. and other selected cities. Our future goal is to become a successful beauty editorial that can be seen nationwide.
SNOB promotions are now underway. We are currently in search of business and beauty experts interested in advertising in this exclusive magazine.
Maintaining the quality of SNOB is very important. All ads will be edited and pre-approved by publisher before print. When creating advertisements, please keep in mind that ads can be creative and edgy, but more importantly the focus should be on the product that is being sold to the reader.
The cost to advertise in SNOB starts at $250. This price includes:
-Professional photography session for 1 model
-ownership of disk with all professional photos from shoot for your own use
-1 professional photo edit
-1 full page ad including design
(Multiple models on 1 page/shoot is subject to an additional $25 fee per model)
Professional on-site make-up artist is available for photo shoots (Optional). Prices range from $25-$40 for “basic look” to “extreme glam” application. All models must have make-up for photo shoots. Make-up can be applied by your artist of choice before you arrive to shoot, or by on-site make-up artist, Robbin Jackson.
Appointments for photo shoots are now available for scheduling.
Clients not wishing to use these dates for photo shoots can schedule dates with photographer. However, you will not qualify for SNOB discounts, and are required to pay photographers full rate.
If you have an existing photo or ad, and no photo shoot is required, the rate to design/advertise in SNOB magazine is $150 per page.
The deadline to turn in all photo selections from photo shoots for editing, and any ads from clients using preexisting photos or ads is TBD. Any photos not received by this date unfortunately cannot be published in the current issue.
Please keep in mind that all ads must meet professional requirements in order to be advertised in SNOB. I thank you for your support, and I’m looking forward to advertising your work in Snob magazine.
